The battleship Bismarck was built in Germany by the Hans Blohm shipyard before World War II. It was an ace battleship named after former German Prime Minister Bismarck. The ship was built in July 1936, launched in February 1939, and completed and commissioned in August 1940. It was one of the largest battleships at the time.

The ship's weapons include 8 380mm guns, 12 150mm guns, 16 105mm guns, 16 37mm guns and 4 aircraft. In World War II, Germany used this ship to attack the Atlantic lines of communication, and was sunk by the British Navy fleet on May 27, 1941.
